About the author…

Although I was born in the suburbs of Austin, Texas, it was not long before my family moved out into the countryside, where the majority of my childhood was spent. As a single child, I often found the desire to bridge out and spend my time with neighbors and their children. Writing and storytelling, in some form or fashion, has always been a part of my life, and served me well when building friendships or talking my way out of sticky situations.
While in college, I launched myself into the working world with little more than my self-taught knowledge of computers and an overly active imagination. I joined the ranks of nighttime tech support where a lot of the inspiration of my first book found its roots. This is also where I happened to meet my future wife, who like Cath, reached out across the void and never let me go. My readers will no doubt find the seeds of our budding romance as the inspiration of Book 1’s storyline. I leave it to you, the reader, to sift the facts from the fiction.

Today I am still happily married to my wife of 24 years, and we call the countryside of Central Florida home. We have 3 children, 3 cats, and traveling as a family is one of my distinct joys.
When I’m not spending time with my family, I continue to further my education while working as a sales engineer for a very prominent data management/storage company.
